Camp Rules and Regulations

  1. Campers will obey any instructions given to them by any faculty member including ministers, teachers, deans, manager, kitchen personnel, dorm parents or evangelists.
  2. No camper shall leave camp grounds at any time or reason without permission from the camp dean and a completed camper release form.
  3. Campers will confine themselves to specified boundaries within the campgrounds as established by the dean and/or camp manager. 
  4. Cars driven to camp by campers will be parked on the camp grounds upon arrival at camp and will not be driven until camp is dismissed.
  5. Campers will not sit in cars or buses unless instructed to do so by the camp dean or member of the faculty. 
  6. Possession or use of drugs, alcohol or tobacco in any form is absolutely prohibited at all times during camp.
  7. No profane language, gestures or signs will be tolerated.
  8. No fighting or scuffing is permitted, even in fun!
  9. No CLOSE BODY CONTACT between campers is permitted.
  10. The use of cellular devices at camp is not allowed.  It is suggested those devices be left at home.  If camper is found using their device, it will be taken from them and kept securely for them until camp is over.  No phone calls may be made without permission. No long distance phone calls may be made unless in the event of an emergency.
  11. No camper will leave any assembly for any reason except an emergency.
  12. Campers are not to be in the dining hall except at mealtime unless otherwise instructed by the Camp Dean or a faculty member.
  13. Campers wishing to be helpers will apply to the deans of those camps they wish to serve. Consideration will be given to each applicant on the basis of character, attitude, reputation, work habits and the needs for that camp. The purpose of helpers is to assist in the operation of camp as instructed by the dean and their supervisors. Serving as a helper is a privilege and an honor that entails work and responsibility. Selection of helpers is at the discretion of the camp deans and cook.

Disciplinary Actions for Violations

  • First Violation: A friendly, verbal admonition and warning by Camp Dean, Manager, or Staff Member.
  • Second Violation:  Restriction or revocation of privileges.
  • Third Violation:  Dismissal from camp.  The camper will be sent home with parents or guardians being responsible for providing transportation.  Camp fees will NOT  be refunded.
  • Serious violations of Camp Policy or any criminal behavior may result in immediate dismissal.  The Camp Dean and/or Manager have the authority to take disciplinary action deemed necessary to maintain an atmosphere conducive to the purposes of Flaming  Spirit Christian Service Camp.
